Hey, came here from a recommendation for this forum and shop, so here I am.

My laptop recently broke and I've always wanted a gaming PC but I'm totally clueless and spoilt for choice, I don't have time to read countless reviews unfortunately. :(

I'm looking to spend around £1000-1200 on a complete gaming set up for games like BF3 mostly, but want it to handle most things I throw at it. Is this possible? It'll need monitor, keyboard, mouse, 2.1 speakers etc etc.

PLEASE help me! PLEASE! I've just got in from work and have like 30 minutes to study computers so I thought I'd post a new thread for help.

Cheers,
Makkusu.

Wow that was fast, many thanks!

May splash out a bit extra for a 24" monitor and slightly better speakers. Also, what are SSD's for? I here people using them to store games on, does it load faster through them or something?

They are basically a lot faster than normal hard drives, you can boot windows in a matter of seconds and programs stored on them load a lot faster.
They tend to be smaller in size than normal hard drives though and are more expensive.
