Is this a GOOD spec for a good game and home PC. Budget is £1000 - £1300?
is the case good choice for cooling and future expansion?

To save some money:
Drop the mobo down to the gigabyte z97x (you will not notice the difference apart from in your bank account)
Drop the RAM down to 8Gb (you will not notice the difference apart from in your bank account)
Change the SSD to the kingston hyper-x (the Samsung ones had an issue or two that need you to carry out a fix I think... better to be safe than sorry)

Many thanks. I will make those changes before I order with MOBO, RAM and SSD. The case is the Zalman Z11 Plus or Corsair 230T good for cooling, cable management and future expansion?
