Possibly returning my new build!

Hi guys, so recently I just received my new pc from Pcspecialist and from the day I got it I have been getting blue screen errors alone with start up errors. I have tried multiple test to find the problem and nothing is simply working. I am no computer expert this is the reason why I came to this company for them to build the pc for me so I’m not overly confident in trying much more to fix the problems.

I received the pc - June 5th and have got atleast 2/3 blue screen errors everyday!

Tonight my pc crashed and when I tried booting It up again I had a black screen with
“Checking Media Presence”
“Media Present.....”
“Start HTTP Boot Over”

I don’t know how these issues weren’t spotted during the 3 days of testing my pc went threw as the errors happen so frequently?

You just need to ask for help and all shall be revealed.

Can you post your full specs from the order page?

The BSOD Doctor
As above, please post the full spec from the order so that we all know what we're dealing with.

From your symptoms it sounds like the boot drive was not found. If you have an M.2 drive as your boot drive try removing the locking screw, remove the drive and then replace it ensuring it's fully home. Then replace the locking screw (it doesn't need to be over-tightened). We've had a couple of builds (out of hundreds remember) that have been resolved by removing and replacing the M.2 drive.

So I took the m.2 drive out and put it back in. But I am still getting the “checking media presence” error on boot up unfortunately

No i haven't. What should it be and how do i go about that?

Unplug any USB keys or DVD/CD you have in the system.

In the BIOS, which you access from windows, go in there to the boot order and make sure it's set on the windows boot manager as the first boot option:

Then make sure the 1st boot device is marked "UEFI" probably windows boot manager

Make sure you save and exit when finished.

As said, boot manager needs to be number 1

Ok done that. Booted up fine after save and restart. But what should I do about the blue screen errors?
Have you set up windows fully ie applied all updates? Have you made sure your gpu drivers are up to date?

Without knowing what the BSOD code is it’s not really possible to advise specifically.
