Preliminary Checks

Hi guys,

My new PC is "awaiting despatch", so hopefully will be arriving this week.

Could someone either link me to a relevant post/thread or give me a bit of advice on what I should do regarding initial setup, such as Windows updates, drivers, etc.?

I'm guessing Windows will prompt me during setup to download the necessary updates?

I'm not sure what I'm doing regarding driver updates though. Will that just be drivers updates for the GPU, or for other things such as the motherboard?

I'd like to get it right first time, so any advice would be great, including the order in which to do things, and any useful links as to how/where to find the correct drivers, if necessary.
