Problem with PC

Issue with PC:

April 2023
Chrome would randomly crash closing all tabs, thought it was an issue with Chrome
Used Brave, same issue, tried Mozilla, no issues with Mozilla at this point

June 2023
Started noticing pixel like colours on pictures on my PC, any app e.g., pictures of Steam games, browser pictures, online games etc. Also crashing still happened.
Tried going to Windows 11, still had issues, full wipe went back to Windows 10, still same issues, nothing changed.

November-December 2023
Crashing got worse, Chrome would instantly say "Aw snap" can't even open a tab, Mozilla started crashing too, apps like Discord, Spotify also not loading or would randomly crash.
Games themselves run fine, no FPS issues, stutters, no crashes etc. all good.

Specs:

Processor (CPU) - AMD Ryzen 5 3600 Six Core CPU (3.6GHz-4.2GHz/36MB CACHE/AM4)
Motherboard - ASUS® PRIME B450-PLUS (DDR4, USB 3.1, 6Gb/s) - RGB Ready!
Memory (RAM) - 16GB Corsair VENGEANCE DDR4 2400MHz (2 x 8GB)
Graphics Card - 6GB NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 2060 - HDMI, DP - VR Ready!

Attached an image of the kind of pixelation I get, not a monitor issue.

When you last reinstalled windows, where did you source the image and what process did you take to source drivers?

Do you mean reinstalled from a USB from Microsoft, or do you mean when the picture provided was taken?
Picture was from 2 weeks ago

When you last installed windows, how did you source drivers?

Or did you just do an upgrade to windows 11 and then roll it back to windows 10?

Upgraded to w11 (through update and security) then rolled back to w10
Yeah, you'd need to do a clean install, if things are fine in games, then it's a software issue, there's a known virus that attacks chromium browsers and causes these issues.

I would suggest a clean install.

What AV are you using?

I did a clean install of w10 too from a USB, wiped my computer clean, issue still persisted.
Whats AV?

I went onto the Microsoft website and downloaded the installation onto a usb - windows media creation tool for w10.
I use the windows antivirus

I dont know what sourcing drivers means
After you’ve installed windows, you then have to configure the drivers.

I’d suggest doing a clean install of windows 11 as windows 10 is no longer being updated and is a year out now , there’s plenty of guides on the internet

what drivers do you mean, im confused sorry
All the system drivers. The whole lot

I would suggest learning how to clean install and doing a new Windows 11 clean install, it doesn't sound like a clean install has been done.
