Hello I have an odd issue with my speakers and base of my pc specialist bought laptop, modal Octane. I have to sent my laptop in for the 4th time as my left and right speakers have blown. Also the base speaker has a whaling sound coming from it, mostly happens at start up.

Pc specialist have been great to me, I cant complaint at the service but i would like the issue sorted out. They have replaced the speakers and base many of times, they also have rebuilt most of the laptop. I wondering if you guys can help me, Anyone have this model of laptop or have onkyo brand installed in there laptops?

I find it really odd, is it possible that the speakers are not up to the job? surly rebuilding the lap top would have resolved the issue. What could the cause be, game volume to high??? (always keep the volume to a minimal)

Thank you and regards, really like to hear from you guys.

I've got the Octane, but I'll be honest I very rarely use the speakers, I usually have headphones plugged in.
Is it always a case that new speakers fix the problem?Sounds really odd to go through multiple replacements.

Sounds very odd - I've got the Vortex IV SE which also has Onkyo speakers and I've had the volume on full plenty of times watching films and playing games without ever noticing distortion never mind a propensity to blow out.

Hard to imagine you've had multiple dodgy speakers but I guess it could be the case - you say you don't even have the volume up loud when this happens and it's hard to think of any other explanation.
