Ignoring all the stuff about the accuracy of benchmarks, I only give them as an indication.

Would I notice any significant difference between the following processors (not changing anything elses in the system) when using Photoshop Elements or my RAW (Nikon NX photo editing) software

c: drive will be an ssd d:will be a hybrid, 16 GB RAM

I Don’t game, solitaire and chess at times but that’s it.

i7-3610QM (2.30GHz) 6MB Benchmark: 8309

i7-3720QM (2.60GHz) 6MB Benchmark: 9015 £108 more than the i7-3610QM

i7-3820QM (2.70GHz) 8MB Benchmark: 9541 £250 more than the i7-3610QM

Per core, the 3720QM is 13% faster than the 3610QM when looking only at clockspeeds. The 3820QM is 17% faster but also has a larger cache.

When the CPU is running idle or general programs you may not notice anything different, but when maxed out during encoding, gaming, etc you wil.
