Proteus IV 17,3 a good choice?

Hi,
This may seem a dumb post but I have never made a £1500 purchase on electronic equipment before and unlike many of the other models available, the proteus IV seems to have very little feedback / reviews ( could just be me being bad at finding stuff... if there is any good feedback somewhere else please tell me where to find it ).
I was wondering if anyone else has bought this laptop ( the 17,3 version ), and had anything to mention, for instance any cooling problems or quick ware in certain places that I need to look out for. The laptop seems to perfect but £1500 is a lot for a laptop so I hope you understand why I'm asking.
:)

While I'm sure that it's not a bad choice at all, I might suggest the Defiance III instead. It has a gsync screen, which means the refresh rate is synchronised to the GPU's FPS output. This can lead to smoother gameplay.

For £1500 you should probably be looking at a Defiance III with a GTX 1070, too. e.g.

In this review on page 3 :

One thing to note, however, is that there is a Nvidia G-Sync sticker, when the panel does not support the technology. I can only assume it is included because the GTX 1060 is G-Sync capable when paired with a display that supports the technology

So..which one is it? Defiance is using G-Sync tech. or you need different screen for it?

To quote myself:
I'm pretty sure the Defiance has gsync. That comment in the review may have been because it was done right after that laptop released and either a gsync panel wasn't available then or the driver version hadn't enabled gsync on it yet (laptop panels don't do gsync in the same way as desktop monitors). If in doubt though, ask PCS I guess :).
