Questions about screen and logo

I am just wondering, do your laptops have any logos on them? in particular, the 17.3" Vortex II 17. Because my mate got a laptop from here (one of the 15 inch ones) and it had the logo on the screen. But most of the pictures have no logo on this forum

And I am wondering which screen you ship with? Because I have heard there are 60%, 72% and 90% ones for the glossy kind, but it doesn't say on your website

Also, how easy would it be to obtain a 90% one and fit it myself, or something?

Welcome to our forums

Our Vortex II do not contain any pcspecialist branding, apart from on the desktop screen which can easily be removed. Would you want branding on or not?

The glossy screens by default are 60% gamut, or the matte ones are 72%. We do not have any 95% gamut matte screens available at present. Unless you are using the laptop for professional applications that require an extremely high colour accuracy, 60% gamut will be more than adequate and the majority of the laptops on the market have a similar % gamut.

Thanks for the reply. I love the fact there is no branding.

And yeah, I wanted to use it for photo editing, texture painting, etc.. I expected them to be 60% or 72% anyway.

A different company who I shall not name are offering 90% glossy ones, but they have the POOREST communication and still haven't delivered after 3 months with no explanations, so I guess there is no option but to get a refund and buy from somewhere else.

I cannot find anywhere in the UK that does higher than 72% gamut screens; does anyone know where I can buy one separately?

Well, I don't want to open a can of worms here and get everyone asking/waiting...but yesterday we placed an order for 200 x AUO B156HW01 V.4 15.6" matte screens with 95% gamut which if confirmed will be with us in about 1 weeks' time.

No guarantees, no promises, but a possibility.

No 17.3" models exist as far as I know, but correct me if I'm wrong.

One company seem to do it... but it might be one of the discontinued ones people are talking about... Can you PM me if the order is confirmed please? I need to know if I can get it before 24th of this month for Uni. Or post here if its not sensitive information lol.
