Questions concerning SSD and OS

Hey there,

So I'm thinking of getting an SSD with my order however I'm not sure whether to have the OS installed on the SSD or the standard HD.
Are their any other performance boosts that come with having your OS installed on the SSD other than a fast boot up time?

If not, seeing that SSD space is at a premium, I'll install the OS on the main HD and save the SSD for games and certain programs. Really don't mind waiting another couple mins for my comp to start ;p

Thanks.

It tends to make the OS more responsive as its quicker every time it wants to load a small file off the drive.

I would say you'd be better off installing the OS on your SSD as the gains you'll see loading games from SSD compared to a descent HDD (Caviar Black etc.) will be minimal!
