Questions on a new Pc builder

My main question is that if I am able to run an nvidia gpu on a amd processor? A few of my friends told me I should stay either all amd or intel/nvidia for the same performance. Right now I'm price checking everything and on my build I have a ryzen 7 thats going to run on a rtx 2060. Am I going to have any issues? Thanks in advance!

Is this for a PC Specialist PC?

If you post your full specs we may be able to help out.

There’s no issues mixing nvidia and AMD, will run fine.

As above, you can run an AMD chip and Nvidia card, an Intel chip and an AMD processor and so on.

Intel and Nvidia aren't sister companies or anything, in fact Intel are likely to release mainstream GPUs at some point in the future and directly compete with Nvidia. ATI were a separate company many years ago and were bought by AMD.

Overall the trick is to match well the components to get the most performance for the money for your needs. That's the whole benefit of a custom build.

Intel's dGPUs are expected 2020 indeed.

On the subject of new releases, AMD are less than 2 weeks away from announcing their Zen 2 lineup

Is this a PC from PC Specialist, or one you are building by hand yourself, that you're looking into?
