Hi, what do you think the chances of PC Specialist including the option to have the upcoming Radeon RX 6000m GPUs in their laptop models are? I know their laptops are based on tongfang/clevo designs so would tongfang/clevo be the ones to decide what GPUs go in each laptop design instead of PC Specialist? Thanks.

My information sources say Tongfang is not willing to risk R&D on a brand new GPU architecture for the 2021. They should have to rengineer the whole motherboards (currently fitted with Nvidia) just for that.
Also, given the very high risk of material shortage, induced by TSMC fabs and their extraordinary delays, they're not putting their eggs in a single basket, e.g. a single provider (AMD) where they are already risking a lot of sells just because TSMC can't feed their demand of CPU. Imagine doubling the risk because also the GPU dies had to come from the same risky source (TSMC fabs).
About Clevo I have no info, but probably the same.
