RAM not recognized

I just added another 16GB of ram to my rig and for some reason it is not being picked up by windows.
I should have 32GB but I still only have 16GB.
I am running windows 7 home premium.
Is the ram faulty? It's Kingston beast 2133Mhz.
Thanks.

Windows 7 only supports up to 16GB of ram.
You need to upgrade to windows 7 professional or ultimate with anytime upgrade to get 32GB working.

Windows 7 Home Premium is limited to only be able to use 16GB of RAM, if you wish to use more than 16GB and still use WIN7 you will need to upgrade from Home Premium to Professional or Enterprise or Ultimate
