What’s it for?

what monitor are you pairing it with, what resolution and refresh rate or make and model if you’re unsure?

1440p 240hz for competitive games and when it comes to casual games. I’ll be using a 4K monitor(120hz) mostly gaming with a little bit of editing/streaming.

I would change M.2 SSD to the fastest Samsung to gain Windows performance. And drop Thermal paste because your AIO already comes with a good quality preapplied paste. Haven't looked at PC case and fans so maybe someone else will have something to say about it.

Just upgraded to the Intel M2 SSD. Removed the thermal paste. So saved £4

Intel M.2 SSD has the worst lifespan. Corsair or Samsung are your options. I just bought a PC with the fastest possible Samsung M.2 SSD for my OS and it was the best decision. Windows updates running within minutes, and when I turn on a PC it loads in 7 seconds! (With system tray)

How many days have you been in pre production now?
14 working days. Only reason why is because I quickly upgraded to the 3080 suprim x. I was one of 8 people, so quite fortunate I was checking my amendments when they added some new cards.

I'd also change the SATA SSD to an M.2 one – the PCS one will be just fine – as even the slowest NVME drives are twice as fast as the fastest SATA drive.

Is probably overkill, the 115i should be fine for 5900 (My build is a 5950 and was told it was probably overkill for that as well...)
I also snagged one of the MSI 3080 cards and am in testing since yesterday (was in build when they dropped... (Build day 18)

FWIW my build is similar, but with a Hero Wifi board, AMD 5950 and 5000D case

Sounds amazing. I know the H150I is overkill, but I am someone who enjoys good thermals lol. So I went with the best of the best in terms of air cooling if you will. I should be in building on Monday, I’ve been told my parts have been picked. So pretty much 14 WD for a 3080. Can’t complain about that tbh. Hope you enjoy yours. We should both be getting ours next week 🎉

(To be fair I stayed with the 150 as well - but the less RGB variant - was slightly cheaper than the RGB 115) also I saved 160Euro switching to the 3080 from the XFX 6900 XT Merc 319)...

I was originally waiting for the 3080 strix(expecting a 3-6 month wait) but fortunately just picked up the 3080 suprim. I had pure luck on my side(or maybe because I look at the amendments page 20x a day lol). It only cost me £22 extra, not that I can play it much next week anyway. Going to be at the G7 summit event for a week, I might get a day or two to play. Hopefully. What games are you most looking forward to play?

I'm extremely jealous, switched to the MSI 3090 yesterday when it came available on the site and still on Pre-Production

It came on the website on Wednesday. I would check with pc specialist first of all to ensure you have one. Assuming you do and your parts have been picked. If it goes into build on Monday, you'll receive yours next week(Wedneday/Thursday)
