Thanks Gorman, I was thinking about this fan controller http://www.scan.co.uk/products/nzxt-sentry-lx-fan-controller-black-double-decker-needs-2-x-525-bays what do you think about it,

For braiding and bits and bobs i usually frequent the following:

not in any particular order, never had a real issue with any of them.
That controller looks cool, i have seen it on a few cyberpower machines, i would want to be sure about the viewing angle though. I had this controller for a bit:
Unless i was at exact eye level with this thing i could not make out any of the numbers on the display, was a bit disappointing.

What about these fans? http://www.tech-kings.net/home/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=75%3Aaerocool-shark-fan&catid=44%3Acoolilng&showall=1 They are a bit expensive, for 5x 140mm and 1x120mm it will be £70, but seem to be really good quality. And the 140mm ones are out of stock everywhere. really

I know what you mean, I've thought the same in the past. But if it's airflow & quietness you're looking for then Noctua are the way to go!
