Pre builts are almost never worth the money

For the same money you can get a custom build that will be much better put together and last a much longer time. If you let us know your budget, what you're gong to be using it for and what monitor you'll be using we can help put together something specific for your needs

Appreciate the response! I understand that building it yourself works out cheaper, but I have, as of now, no interest in doing this and instead just want to buy one outright.

I plan to purchase https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/gigabyte/m27q. My budget is circa 1500k, and it is my first step into proper PC Gaming (outside of owning a steam deck), so would hope to purchase a PC that can play a variety of games at very high settings.

@Steveyg was not meaning to build one yourself, more to custom-spec one on PCSpecailists configurator and they will built and test it for you before sending out, it will take a bit longer than a next-day build (like the black friday deals) but then you get exactly what you need

Ah that makes sense, apologies for the misinterpretation. Honestly I'm open to all suggestions/recommendations. I know it's an easier discussion if I have a specific use case, but as I said I'm kinda a blank canvas right now. The only game I've been playing seriously right now it WoW which obviously has much lower requirements than a lot of other modern games.

I suppose a question I have is - is the pre built one I linked above a good spec? How much would you expect to pay for something with that configuration? And should I consider just configuring something similar to it to reduce the price?

For example thinking of WOW at 1440p this would kill it no problem

It's a bit less on the CPU and GPU but with the rest of the build being far more balanced and bolstered. This will give the build longevity and potential for upgrades which the prebuild doesn't have

Thanks so much for this. I'm based in Ireland - is there any easy way to move this config to the .ie website? I think I have to purchase my PC from the .ie website to avoid/include import duties.

I've tried to create the one above on the .ie website but can't seem to find the exact parts you've recommended.

Yeah it won't let me select Republic of Ireland as a delivery when I use the .co.uk website :( I've tried all the different options.
