Recommended Build For Budget

Hi all
Been recommended this site by somebody I met elsewhere on another forum

We are putting together a build for a gaming PC Budget - £1500 - (monitor covered outside of budget. Will be placing an order with PCSPECIALIST
(May be go higher if the difference in spend is worth it)

He says: Spydertracks. and steaky360 are guys who helped him a lot

Requirements: 1440p 144hz Gaming on 27" Monitor
Games: Kids Games Train Simulator / Lego / Fortnite / COD / Battlefield (Any Recommendations for Good 27" IPS 2K Monitors for BF and COD also appreciated)
AMD Or Intel

Got some ideas myself but interested to see what the community comes up with.

Well this is as close to the £1500 mark I could get without compromising the build integrity. The only thing I'm not happy about is that I would rather have an 850W RMx PSU as opposed to the 750W just to ensure the headroom for upgrades later

Yeah this build should handle 1440p 1440hz no problem

As for the monitor I personally have a Samsung G5 that I would recommend

Hi Mate, first of all you're welcome that's what we're here for

I would say though you're better keeping this in your original thread so that people can see the history of our conversation on the build

@SpyderTracks knows his monitors so I'm sure he could help suggest one, he'll also mostly likely merge this thread with your old one.

Basically you need an 1440p / 27" IPS monitor that isn't curved form our last posts

You're at the right end of a really good performing machine, 1440p 144Hz is like night and day from anything 1080p can offer.

What was the budget for the monitor on it's own? There are a lot of great options to fit the 5700XT.

Hi Spyder I am looking up to £450 I play a fair bit of COD / BF..
Have been playing on an BENQ EX2510 1080p which has been really good

If I can get a good 27" IPS or HD Panel then that would be good

Ones I have been looking at so far:
LG Ultragear 27GL83A-B IPS
ASUS TUF Gaming VG27AQ Non IPS
Alienware AW2720HFA 27 Inch Full HD (1920 x 1080)

Any other suggestions welcome

Hi Guys

Just a further question do you think the 4000D requires another 2 x 120mm Top mounted fans or the ones in the front are sufficient and this is overkill ?
Would adding the other 2 in top just make it more noisy ? Thanks

The 4000D could definitely use more flans, but I'd probably prefer to get an AIO at that point and use that as the extra exhaust.

Still gone with Standard Stock cooler but also added 2 x additional fans

The stock cooler is not enough for the 3900X it runs really hot, secondly you've gone back a generation on the CPU from the 5600X to the 3900X I'm not sure why?

You've also dropped the capacity of your PSU, you'll be running pretty close to the wire on the specs listed above, you'll burn that PSU out

I wouldn't recommend that build mate but if your budget is now £2K we can really help optimise it
