Looking to start of the new year with a fresh PC (why not), currently using it for working from home which it does comfortably and gaming such as Valorant, Battlefield etc. Looking to upgrade for the RTX 30 series, any suggestions alterations are welcome.

Will look to move over my current 2TB SSD to the proposed new build which has my current game files saved to.

I wouldn't suggest replacing your current PC, just an upgrade if you feel there are areas that can be improved.

Would be a bit of a waste of a perfectly good system and replacing it isn't going to offer any performance benefits that a couple of upgraded parts can't achieve.

What's your budget for upgrades? What are the areas you're looking for better performance from?

Thanks Spyder, was originally looking to take the replacement route but finding it near impossible to get my hands on RTX 30 Series graphics card.

Ideally all I really need is a new GPU and power supply, feeling like the hardware is slightly outdated but it seems to managing the latest games fine.

What monitor do you have? The 1070 Ti is no slouch! When PCS's graphics cards are in stock, you'll easily be able to upgrade it (as well as that nasty PSU!). They come in and out, so I'd just keep an eye on your upgrade page and see when they turn up. They are often below what they go for on other sites, so it's quite reasonable in terms of price.

All depends on your monitor male and model as to what's suitable?

Thank you both! My monitor is a ASUS ROG PG279Q.

I've been looking into the upgrade option PCS provide in which will most likely be the approach I take to have the PSU and GPU replaced as availability and cost seems much more suitable

Yeah, the 1070 Ti will be a little long in the tooth for that, so I'd look into getting something like a 3060 Ti, which is a massive upgrade. The 3070 would also be a good option. And get hold of a 850W power supply as well.

The best way IMO would be to suffer on for now until they come back into stock and then do the upgrade. I'd check every day to see if they're there for you.
