After already having purchased multiple PCs from PCSpecialist, I was exited to buy a new laptop mostly for travelling and working on the go. Therefore, I was searching a sleek laptop which is thin and easy to cary around. That besides, it needed a large battery, and if possible a reasonable big screen to make working on the go easier.
After browing on PCSpecialist their website, I found the LAFITÉ® PRO. Although they had an older generation (only with i5-1240p) 17 inch version for a cheaper price, I ended up going with the 15.6 inch version with a 13th gen Intel. This would be the ideal screen size, and would make the laptop look very modern and sleek. In addition, the laptop offered a 73WH battery to ensure that you would not need to charge it that much (which is very important when I am travelling).
After ordering, it took them 5 days to build the laptop, after which is was made available for UPS (from UK to Belgium). Unfortunately, this is where a less positive experience occured. Although PCSpecialist offers 2-day shipping from the UK to Belgium, I have almost never actually had this. This time, it took UPS a week (7 days) to get the laptop to me instead of 2. First with delays in the UK, then with delays in the Netherlands. Alhough customs had made the shipment available, UPS said they only collect from customs once they have a batch of x shipments to collect. In my case, this alone already took 3 days.
Now that my laptop has arrived, I am very happy about the product, and love the brightness, battery life, and colors of the screen. The laptop is a great product for what I needed.
Conclusion; The product is great, but PC-Specialist really needs to stop promising shipping times faster than what they can make happen.
