My PC went back to PCS on the 05th of August as it was delivered on the 03rd August DOA. I received an email today saying the problem was the processor had been pulled away from the CPU socket during transit. No amount of troubleshooting I was told would have fixed it at my end and it was definitely an RMA job.
I can happily report that barring a few frustrating communication issues PCS have been very helpful and updated me on what was happening. Machine has been dispatched and is due delivery on Monday, fingers crossed this time!!
I would also like to mention forum admin and in particular SpyderTracks who maybe helped push things along.
