Hi all, I have ordered a 3070 with my pc on the 15-12-2020 and mine is still in pre production on the 24th day and I was wondering has anyone had emails about there pc going into the next stage recently? It’s a little bit concerning and I’m thinking is it worth it just downgrading to the 3060Ti just for faster build time.

(delete it not aloud)

I am having the same issue. From what I have seen the difference between the two is maximum 20fps. That being said, I dont want to downgrade to a 3060ti if they have no stock coming in for a while, whereas we could get 3070's next week or vice-versa.

Hoping someone can provide some clarity on if a downgrade to a 3060ti will 100% reduce waiting time....

If I downgrade to a 3060ti it will minus £120 on my order to make it cheaper and sacrifice a 20fps which is good in my opinion and hopefully get a faster build as well. I will be playing at 1440p and someone has clarify that the 3060ti is really good for 1440p

This post has gone dead and no one is replying this post anymore so I thought I would make a 2021 thread to keep things going

I switched to a 3070 from 3080 as I'm at 46 working days and need my PC for work. Might upgrade to the 3080 or 3080ti when stock is better.
I just got in contact with them and they said that they do not have a ETA on big shipments of 30 series cards but they are getting small increments of cards in at a time. They are currently fulfilling orders from October so Who knows when I will receive my pc

I got In contact with them and they said the 3060ti is in the same position as the 3070 so I wouldn’t bother changing it

Thanks man and is the 3080 require for you to have because you can downgrade to a 3070 because you could get your pc built quicker
I did, I will upgrade to the 3080ti at some point when the stock is down. I changed to a 3070 yesterday as I need a PC for my VFX work.

Pc specialist have been doing a fantastic job it's just the stock problems and I understand. So fingers crossed it won't be to long now.
