Screen only comes on at certain angle

Hello,

I've had an Optimus v X17 laptop for about 4 months now. Over the past few days I have noticed that the laptop screen only turns on when the lid is at a certain angle, and right now it has to be opened at pretty much 90 degrees for the screen to come on, and flickers a lot around that spot if moved around. Is this something to do with a loose screen cable? If so, is there anything that can be done to fix it? I'm not very tech savvy and not confident enough to open up the laptop myself, especially as the laptop is still under warranty.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)

If it's under warranty call PCS straight away, this is 100% a hardware problem. It will almost certainly need to be RMAd, this is not going to be something you can fix yourself, especially if you're not that comfortable opening it up.
