Hi Guys,

Could I get some help for a friend please? I've just purchase something from PC specialist for myself you guys recommended.

Gaming PC for games such as apex, CS, Battlefield, GTA V. Budget £2000 in total including monitor, wants the best 27 inch 1440p gaming monitor he can get with the remainder going on the build. Leaves about £1600 with a bit of movement I would imagine.

He's trading off the GPU (which gives most gaming performance) for a CPU that offers barely any improvement over the 3600. So it would be significantly less powerful than the 3600 paired with the 2070 Super which is the sweetspot for 1440p gaming.

No benefit to over 16Gb of RAM, just won't be used.

I'd up the M2 to the Firecuda but they're currently out of 1Tb drives.

Don't skimp on the cooler, I'd get a minimum of the H100i on that CPU

But otherwise it's fine.

Agree with the above but things are selling out fast. No Firecuda 1tb and no H100i's. Unfortunately the H115i doesn't fit with that case. The coolermaster should fit the bill quite nicely but it won't be as quiet....
