Serious Optimus 2 problem Please help

Just after Christmas this year i bought myslef the optimus 2 and for the first couple of months it worked great and I couldnt of been happier
But a couple of weeks ago I started to get the BSOD about dumping memory, so I emailed pcspecialist and they said to call them to troubleshoot through it, but I never really got round to it.
Then today I turned on the Optimus and it worked fine for a couple of hours untill it froze. Not a massive deal I thought, so I turned it off and gave it an hour or so to cool off.
Then when I try to turn it back on the backlight lights up but apart from that nothing comes up on screen, but i can hear the rest of the laptop working.
I've looked online and ive tried taking out the battery and holding the power button and putting it back in ect, but it doesnt work and now I have no idea what to do.
Any idea that would make it work would be appreciated, or if anyone else has had this they could tell me what to do.
Thanks

Do you have a Cdrom drive and a windows install disc? If so have you tried to reinstall windows? If not I would suggest you do call PCS.

Check call waiting times before you ring so you know how long you will be on old. call-waiting

Sorry I cant be of anymore help at this stage, and hope you get it sorted.

Power-On Self-Test (POST) refers to routines which run immediately after many digital electronic devices are powered on.
You know when you press the power button and you see a DOS type screen with lot of text. Thats the P.O.S.T
