So I went and ordered myself a good PC for my 30th in October last year, a big upgrade over my 10 years out of date desktop for sure. And it's been pretty great for the most part.
But I have had some infrequent issues with it that I feel are mostly the GPU. Which for reference is a 12GB NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3060.
For example when I put the PC to sleep sometimes when I wake it up again the screen just never comes on and I have to restart the whole thing. Other times when I turn the PC on my screen will be a mess of colours or static(like an old TV) and either I need to restart it again or it eventually works. And the other day when I turned my PC on it made different beeps than usual, this has only happened once but best as I can tell it was an error for the GPU, I think it was 4 beeps though can't be sure.
So I've had the PC over 6 months and these issues have happened pretty rarely, the only one that's quite consistent is not waking up from sleep properly which might just be Windows being Windows.
I'm just not sure if this is something I should be worried about, diagnostics don't show any errors for the machine at all. Is it just normal with modern computers to occasionally have stuff like this happen or should I be looking in to sending the GPU back or whatever? I'm not sure I want the hassle but also don't want a £2000 brick.
Could it be something as simple as the GPU not being put in properly and all I need to do is detach and reattach it? I just can't gauge how serious it is, if it never gets worse than this then I'm not too bothered.
