Yep looks like a decent spec,if i can get some more cash together ill probbaly be buying the same,if you order it please keep us updated on the machine,i wont be ordering mine till atleast april so if you order please keep me updated and it might influence what i buy :)

I'l keep people updated on it.

Looking at the thermal paste £9 for the artic one, yes I think I will select that, and that really is the maximum now. Think its time to order this

well I've ordered it now, one question I log in but when I click on orders it comes up with a message error 404 file not found, and it seems to have logged me out, not sure if its a site problem or am I doing something wrong? It even happens if I click on inbox or other things as well?

Thanks to everyone who helped me today with the excellent advice I will click on the star at the bottom left as thanks for help

its the same on my laptop and desktop its like it logs me out when I press view track orders or the other things, I'm going to delete web page temp internet files and cookies to see if that makes any difference I had a problem with the xbox website once and deleting those solved the issue

I cleared the cache and such still made no difference. I can't understand it I can log in but when I click on something it logs out / goes to an error page it was 2006 when I set up the account when I bought my last PC from here so perhaps that maybe have something to do with it, perhaps the account has become corrupt or something

I've sent a email to pc specialist enquiries see what they have to say and yes I will put up a few pics / info when the laptop arrives

my laptop has been built and tested and is now waiting for dispatch!

I was going through my order and the order from 2006 and looked at who tested it, the same person who tested my core 2 duo now has tested my core i7 laptop!

well I got this laptop today, were not sure if anyone would be in when it arrived but luckily I have my laptop now had an issue with the sound probably due to driver as when I installed them from the disc it worked, it looks like there are a few scratches on the system but nothing too serious, I'm happy with it atm looking forward to playing some games on it soon after I have installed all the updates and such

played a few games on it super streetfighter 4 looks great and played skyrim on ultra settings, skyrim uses the cloud so downloaded my game saves from what I was using on desktop, I find games that use the cloud good if playing on various systems or you reformat windows. will be testing Battlefield 3 soon!

Hi Willow,

Glad you are happy with your build. I have a question for you... I noticed you played Skyrim on Ultra. What sort of FPS were you getting on ultra? I'm currently in the market for a new gaming laptop but am hanging off for Ivy Bridge in April or so. But I'd be interested to know how smoothly Skyrim runs on your laptop with the 570m.

well I'm using the high resolution texture pack as well, it runs not bad but there is a bit of stuttering but that happened on my desktop pc as well also running @1080p on a core i7, my desktop uses a radeon 6950. I do suspect this game like other Bethesda games have an engine that does not take advantage of pc's fully, I think like Fallout NV it only supports up to 2 cpu's!
I have been testing a few games now like dirt 2 and everything else runs very smooth. I have never used a laptop than can play games as well as this one, my old laptop had a nvidia graphics card but only just about ran left 4 dead with massive slowdown this new laptop is leagues ahead. Battlefield 3 runs great on high settings.
