Thanks, I understand that.
But after all Windows Updates have completed, would you still install drivers from PCSpecialist?
Will the ones Windows Update have found be the same or as good as PCSpecialist drivers ?
Only if they were not installed by WIndows Update (check in Device Manager to see). There may well be some control software (Gaming Center for example) that Windows Update will never install, these would either be installed from the disk provided by PCS or (better still) from the Clevo download site if it's a Clevo chassis. Other chassis may need control software found in the downloads section of your build on the main PCS website. But after all Windows Updates have completed, would you still install drivers from PCSpecialist?
In most cases the Windows Update drivers will be better than those on the PCS disk, simply because they are newer. With Windows 10, WIndows Update does an excellent job of finding the best drivers. The only exception may be the graphics card driver. These change so often that the Windows libraries might not have the very latest version - you should download that from the graphics card vendor website (Nvidia for example). Will the ones Windows Update have found be the same or as good as PCSpecialist drivers ?
