Should I upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11 now?

HI guys, I hope you are keeping well!!!

Bought the PC with PCS back in November with Windows 10 as I think the consensus was that Windows 10 would be the best bet for the time being given that Windows 11 had a few issues at the time.

It's now September though, and I have kind of left things as they are. It's been at the back of my mind though that I should upgrade, and according to the MS website 'the free upgrade offer does not have a specific end date for eligible systems. However, Microsoft reserves the right to eventually end support for the free offer. This end date will be no sooner than October 5, 2022.'

So I guess it would be a good idea to upgrade to Windows 11 now? Or is there any reason I should wait until 22H2 comes out on the 20th of Sept.?

Thanks a lot in advance! :)

Edit: just to add as well, have been having a read of this thread too https://www.pcspecialist.ie/forums/threads/windows-11-major-optional-update.89099/, so I guess it would be a good idea to upgrade? Not using the PC for production uses like rendering etc.

I would personally say, yes, it's a good time for anyone for any use (so long as the software you're using is compatible, thinking of professional suites like ProTools).

They're just about to release the first major version update for windows 11 which is 22H2 on the 20th September which will fix most of the remaining bugs.

I've been using it for about 3 months now on my laptop without any issues. It's really good.

Anyone else notice their TimeSpy scores decrease in W11 vs W10?

The CPU score has remained about the same, but the GPU score have gone from 20.5k to 18.5k.
