SkyFire 14" (2014) cutting out when using left-side USB ports

I have a 2014 SkyFire 14" (MSi/Micro-Star International MS-1492 motherboard).

I've noticed I can generally plug things into the two left-side USB 3.0 ports without issues (if I'm careful).

However, if I wiggle the connect plug slightly (in any of the ports), or put any pressure on the plug (from above or below), the laptop dies instantly.

Any suggestions?

Possible shorting issue?

Are they easy to fix? Are there any repair manuals? I believe it's a Clevo.

It is probably shorting something out, it will trigger an auto shutdown to save damaging anything.

I don't know of any easy fixes, might be a job for a reputable repair technician if you can find one locally.
