Are you looking to upgrade the machine? The specs for that machine tell me its getting fairly old, when you say slow, what exactly do you mean, as in boot up time, or just everything takes ages?
That machine only has 1GB RAM, these days 2 is a minimum, realistically 4 if you want to do more then 1 thing at once.
Without more info its tough to advise. What specifically do you need advice on?
