Small issue on startup.. HELP PLEASE

Hi all

I recently brought an Enigma laptop, specs are i7, 16gb, 120 ssd and win 7 64bit. The issue is the CD drive keeps on opening automatically on every boot up so my question is can i disable the CD drive from popping opening on each boot up? And if so please give a step-by-step guide how to do it please

I think this issue could be due to a range of things.

Sometimes it can occur if the connections for the CD are slightly loose so checking that everything looks well connected would be a start.

It can also occur with certain viruses so definately make sure that a full virsu scan is run just to rule out this possibility.

Finally (and possibly more likely) it could be an issue with the BIOS as it may be set to load from your CD/DVD first so you may need to go into the BIOS and check what is set to load first and change the order if needed.

If you have only recently brought it then maybe call PCS and get them to troubleshoot for you but in my experience the above have been the most obvious issues.
