i suggest you go for the V-Pro board instead of the ROG board. the ROG maximus is purely just for overclocking and running multiple gpus. for your use, i think its much not worth it. the v-pro board still has plenty of overclocking potential as the maximus but not to the extreme as the maximus. much wiser spent.

I might also get a Razer Mamba Mouse and a Blackwidow Ultimate Keyboard, as I saw Teaz's spec and looked at the reviews! :)

Another quick note is that which should I go for, the Razer Mamba Mouse and Blackwidow ultimate keyboard or a GTX 580 1.5GB?

yes probably an intel one and whichever size you feel you need, although bear in mind it will just be used for OS and programs, no media files etc

i dont know how big your programs are, Windows is around 20gb, then add 5GB for general programs (ie browser/office) and then add the sizes of your other programs

i dont have a clue on the sizes of the programs you use, so i cant give an estimate

Thats a beast of a spec! only thing i would change would be the 570 to a 580. But like ya said earlier only a bit of gaming, so the 580 is not needed.

no need for sabertooth this current board is better imo anyway, the sabertooth uses the quite old p67 chipset, with not so many features
