SOLVED: WiFi hardware switch - it really should not be this hard!

It’s strange as I’m sure something has happened in a recent update because on one of my other laptops, it seems to send the WiFi card to sleep when left on for ages yet none of the power management / sleep type options are set.

Sometimes a reset is required and enough but twice I have had to remove / reinstall.

Yeah, I think some update has rolled out that’s caused issues.
