Sound buzzing problem.

Hi, not been on these forums for a while, but I have an annoying problem that I'd like to get fixed.

I have a PC Specialist desktop I bought last August. Sound wise I have an iTube valve amp and speakers. Basically when I run any game I get buzzing through the speakers. There is no buzzing other than when I am gaming or doing anything graphically intensive (it does it when I run Windows Experience as well). Plugging the amp into the headphone jack on the front makes no difference. I'd be thinking there was some issue with my graphics and/or sound card, but if I plug in headphones direct to the PC, there is no buzzing and sound is perfect. If I plug the headphones into the amp directly, the buzzing is still there ( so I guess it's not the speakers...) This problem was not present when I first bought the PC, as it has come on gradually over the period of months - I have been looking this up on google and from what I can tell it may be a ground loop but I would have thought that would have been present from day one if it had been the case?

I am leaning towards thinking my amp needs repairing or replacing, it does have an issue where it crackles when I touch the volume button so I am not sure if this is just another symptom of the same fault. Does anyone have any ideas?
