speaker interfearence

hi guys last couple weeks whenever i put a radio station on,atleast once a day i get some sort of interfearence during the songs the only way i can describe it is it sounds like a disco dj ending his set its as if a cd is scratched and struggling to play properly,i thought it may be pc doin auto updates but nothing has informed me as far as i can see

not sure how to answer this without looking like an idiot i aint great with computers..they are just basic speakers wire goes into back of the tower...had no problems for over 5 years now only started happening beginning this month....it does interfere with onscreen too try to move the mouse and the cursor slows down as its happening etc hasnt happened at all today.

That's what I was asking yeah. :) Looks a bit like this, then (the black cable at the bottom plugged into one of those small round ports - the end of your cable might be light green, doesn't really matter):

Does your PC case have a headphone socket around the front of the case? And if so, do you get the same issue with the speakers plugged in there?

Also, does the issue persist if you unplug the speakers and use earphones/headphones instead?

You're saying you get that problem (only) at the same moments as the sound crackles/pops?

i havnt changed over the leads at all since i bought the pc from pc specialist in december all been in exactly the same place so probably wont be the leads but what i did just notice is as i was scrolling through my facebook wall,sky sports were doing a live interview so as i clicked on the video it all started again including the radiostation which was fine 2 mins before i played the live video, as soon as i closed all of the open windows in firefox facebook & the radiopage & reloaded firefox everything is fine again, seems to be everytime theres a live stream on facebook this happens as its just done it again.
