I am going to be using it for 3d modelling and gaming (hopefully) but i am nearing the top end of my budget. If I have made stupid rookie errors, I wouldn't be surprised but any suggestions for improvements/ changes to either add new things or swap things out would be much appreciated. Bit of a novice here as you can tell

Hi,
If you are planning to OC your cpu you could consider a pre-overclocked system from PCS. You may want to try onboard audio first before adding a soundcard and you wouldn't need the hdmi cable since you are planning to use Logitech speakers, the IIYAMA monitor comes with a dvi cable and audio cable as well if you want to use the in-built speakers.

Depending on how much 3d modelling you are doing, and the complexity of the models, you might want to consider 16GB of RAM. The 1600hz RAM would be almost as good as the 1833Hz RAM.
