Spec help for Home mini PC please

Hi there - I am going round in circles a bit looking for an ideal solution for my new home PC.

could anyone recommend a spec for the following:

- preferably a mini PC
- for home use - word processing/web browsing/light photo editing plus some art and design
- with DVD/CD burner and card reader
- lots of storage for photos and some music
- it won't be used for gaming or videos (bar the odd you tube or iplayer clip)

I want it to be powerful but without breaking the bank

I've been thinking of getting an SSD for running Windows/software, and a 2TB black caviar for storage - does that sound like a good idea?

This is the spec I’ve come up with – is it more than I need? It’s also a bit more than I’d like to spend – its £620 before vat and was looking for something more like £500.

Any ideas gratefully received!

Hi,
You could go with an i5 if you wish to lower the price. I don't think your motherboard supports SATA 6gb/s, you may want to consider the 128gb Kingston SSD v200 instead.
