I got an bsod while in windows with unexpected store error
Rebooted got some kind of error and
Now the laptop wont boot anymore.
I decided to load setup defaults in bios. Now it just says no valid boot device detected please retry.

I looked in the bios and my ssd! Was gone! I rebooted a few times and the ssd was back but still no os boot. Then i used my usb stick and tried startup repair but got error memory couldmnot be read. Then tried system restorr but it said u need to do it from the os itself.

Is my ssd dead? Or anything i can try?
Sry for spelling im typing on tablet now only option :(
Sys spec:
Win 10 x 64 pro
Octane laptop
I5 6600
Gtx 980m
16 gb ddr
1 tb sata hdd. The os is not on this drive.
256GB M.2 2280, SATA 6Gb/s (564MB/R, 400MB/W) . the os is on this drive..

The error i get when the ssd is seen and booted is. \boot\bcd 0x00000e9 an unexpected error has occured.
This error can be fixed by unplugging a usb or removable device or faulty hardware etc etc.

Also a thing i noticed is, in the bios bootlogo sometimes is disabled and greyed out. But nowsometimes i can change it sometimes not. Ans secure boot is there and then it isnt... Very strange almost think the bios is damaged?

.... Im stuck i want to play my games :(

Edit:
Finally got command prompt to boot in windows setup.
Tried c: but got error: request could not be completed i/o error.
Tried bootrec/rebuildbcd said after long time 0 installations detected.
Tried chkdsk c: said is RAW not avaioable for RAW drives

You're not the only one with this (new to Windows 10) BSOD on that game see also https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/foru...e_Exception-error-while-on-SubNautica-(Win10). This does suggest it may be a game issue.....

Have you made any changes at all to the BIOS setup?

Will the laptop boot a DVD (such as the Windows install DVD)?

Have you tried removing the M2 SSD and reseating it?

That chkdsk message does indicate a damaged drive.

Do you get this BSOD (or any errors) using other software?

Until I got this BSOD, i didn't make changes. After i got it and the laptop wouldnt boot. I set the setup to "optmized defaults".
I tried from USB. I had to remove the SSD though, because it would take infinite loading to install and the screen wouldnt progress to selecting the drive screen to install it on.
So when i removed the SSD i installed windows 10 again on the Sata HDD. and it worked just fine...

I have had little trouble with this laptop sure i have gotten 1 or 2 BSOD's in this half year i have this laptop. but i use a large variety of software and it didnt seem a big deal.

Anyway I filed an RMA for the SDD card.

Good call, I agree that it sounds like a dead SSD....
