No need to add each other, I went through my friends list the other day and removed people I've never actually spoke to on there from here (nothing personal ) but here;

you can see who's online and playing what without the need to clog up your friends list.

And I've just checked and it seems no one knows that groups have a chat room feature, so figured I'd point that out now.
