Posted about this previously but still haven't managed to come up with a solution. Basically when launching a game the laptop will almost always go to a black screen. The game will be running perfectly in the background as evidenced by the sound but nothing visual is present. Alt-tabbing doesn't do anything, only solution is put it to sleep mode and re-awaken which sometimes snaps it back to the video output it should be using. I'm running a intel HD 4000 and Geforce 675MX 4.0GBDDR. When actually gaming and using the Nvidia card the laptop performs like a champ but as you can imagine this issue is really getting annoying. It happens with all of my games which are all steam based if that makes any difference. Latest drivers etc. It feels like a config issue to me but I'm at a loss as to what exactly the parameter is that is causing it to do this.
