SUB 30k Gaming PC Build

Guys, I have a Desktop, couple of Laptops, but I am missing Gaming. So now I want to build a Gaming Box. I am a fan of FPS and Racing games, but I don't like playing FPS on a console. So here comes the catch.

No monitor is required as this will be connected to HDTV. Shall be used as a Gaming PC and HTPC. Its been long since I had assembled a system. So I have no clue on the intricacies on the current generation Mobo.

Though I can execute this without any budget constrain, I have learned that today's best hardware becomes history tomorrow. Especially with Mobiles and PCs.

Games to be played at Full HD resolution. Can sacrifice on some eye candies to get decent frame rate, but not on resolution since I want the games to run at the Native resolution of the HDTV Panel.

If you really mean sub £3,000 then we can do that. Sub £30,000 is not even possible as you wont get anywhere near that even with everything maxed out unless you're buying enterprise grade kit which is of 0 use for gaming,

Basically something like this will max out any game you like at just 1080p and has the ability to go to 1440p and higher if you ever wanted to.

spending much more for gaming alone is not worth it.

Personally I would wait to see how well the Titan X performs as that may fit your budget and benefit you more than 980 SLI. Its easy to spend 3k on a gaming PC which gives you little more benefit than a 2k PC (I've done It and regretted It) Save that extra £1000 for a good monitor. I know ACER are releasing the new 1440P 144HZ IPS monitor in April, could be a good buy and would be perfect with that build
