Hi all, got my first PCSpecialist PC when I was fairly young, this will now be my third from PCS. Now I'm 23 and looking for a change. I've not PC gamed in about two years and now being based closer to home now allows it! Hopefully this will allow me to kick start my gaming career again)

Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated! (ALSO note, the 1070 i've selected.. I would have selected the Ti version for the extra £10 but it's out of stock till 13/12, if you think it's worth the wait, let me know!)

If the 1070 ti is only £10 more than the 1070, that's definitely worth it, since the 1070 ti gives you pretty much the same performance as a 1080.

This stuff is extremely expensive, and also obsolete, offering less performance than more modern alternatives by both AMD and Intel. Tbh there's no situation, gaming or otherwise, where they'd be the right things to buy.

Intel's CPU pricing at the moment is through the roof, making AMD's CPUs the best buy.

For gaming, and indeed most other things, this storage arrangement is a waste of money. Stick to a single 1TB SSD if you must have a huge SSD - 500gb if you want to save cash - and get the rest as HDD storage.

Cheers for that. I never really thought of AMD, especially recently. Seems as if intel have quite the name whoring monopoly of the CPU world. Thanks for that suggestion.

No problems.

If you do decide to go for an Intel system then the CPUs to look at would be those with the Z370/Z390 motherboards, not the X299 ones. The X299 ones aren't really meant for gaming/general consumers and have quite niche purposes, or are just plain obsolete.
