The Big Switch to PC from a whole life of Mac

Hey guys! Just took the plunge and bought my first ever PC after being a Mac Fanboy for my whole life.
I’ve purchased mainly for gaming and on a strict budget. I didn’t want to spend more than around £1K.
Does anyone know if they have any stock issues with my CPU and GPU and when I would expect it to arrive? At the moment it says 14-16working days. Do you think this is doable?
I’m looking at adding an extra 2TB M.2 SSD when it arrives. Any feedback is much appreciated.

Pretty stellar build, the only things I’d suggest changing would be the WiFi card to the ax200 which is much newer and supports modern standards, the one you currently have is about 12 years old now and also has driver issues out of the box. I’d also suggest silver warranty for £5er which increases return to base shipping costs to a year.

The only components there may be issues with is the motherboard, some mobo stocks have run low. But it should have flagged when you proceeded on the build if there were any issues with that particular board.

The cpu and GPU are quite readily available, shouldn’t have any issues there I don’t think.

To temper expectations, set the time frame in your mind to 30 working days. I have every expectation it would be a lot quicker than that, but that way you won’t be disappointed.

It looks like a fair setup, I would change the WiFi for the AX200, its a newer/better card and also gives you bluetooth and you may consider taking the 850w RMx PSU just for fully modular/ease to work with and lifespan, plus a tiny bit more headroom for future GPU upgrades

Im guessing you are using a 1080p monitor with it? What was your budget, and can you include the link at the bottom on the page you copied the specs from?

I'm also a Mac user (have been since 1988) and have just bought a couple of M1 MacMinis for family, but gaming on the Mac has never been up there with the Windows side - even when running my 12-core MacPros under BootCamp (drivers were never optimised enough and the GPU offerings were poor).

However, I wanted to get better performance than the Xbox One Series X I'd pre-ordered (and cancelled), but had to spend over £2k to do so.

What resolution are you planning on paying at, and what screen are you going to pair this PC with?

Hi everyone thank you for your replies!

to be perfectly honest the pc is going to be hardwired Ethernet and I didn’t have an option of removing the Wi-fi card.

Sorry if it looks like I'm spamming this thread! Does anyone know what sort of FPS I'm able to get on Warzone with this spec?

Also - do you think I will need any extra case fans? Apologies if that's a stupid question - I'm a complete noob.

This is a 1440p monitor, to get the most of the monitor you really need a 3060Ti, 3070 or a 6700XT

The 1660 Super is a 1080p card and will not cut it at the level this monitor offers

I know, but at the moment my budget only allows for this card. Maybe in a year or so I will upgrade. Hopefully
