The Defiance 17.3" Hexus review promo.

The Defiance 17.3" promo laptop with the gtx 980m doesn't come with an OS. Is it easy enough to install one from scratch...? Thanks.

I ordered my laptop without an OS. It just means it will ship with an unactivated version of Windows, I think a 30 day trial.

Mine came with a 30-day Windows 8. It was my first attempt at a self install and had few, if any, problems. It was a couple of years back and things may have changed a bit, then just needed to disable the UEFI before selecting my boot option but once that done installed Ubuntu at first attempt.
