both would be fine together if you can afford it, definitely recommend a beter case though, with your spec, probably at least a T900 or InWin 136 which are both great budget cases

The only problem i have with the graphics card is that i dont think it has VGA output.. So my current monitor which is kinda old wont work with the graphics card will it? :s

And I cant get a new monitor with the computer as the budget has been stretched alot in my terms.

Also how old is the monitor, can it accept a digital signal or will it require analogue, if it requires analogue you will need to check that the graphics card will output analogue - I only say this cos someone had that exact issue sometime last month I think - though that monitor was pretty old I believe.

From the couple of places I've looked, it looks like it might be analog only, but I'm not entirely sure.

If it is analog only then you need to make sure the graphics card can output an analog signal (ie. DVI-A or DVI-I, but not DVI-D, I think ....), to check this you may have to ring up PCS since the brand of cards they have does change and all the brands are not all the same.

I think just getting a new monitor along with the computer.

So it does not get too costly I would have to drop the cpu down to an i3.

Yes this is pretty much the limit. Im not to fussed about the HDD since 500gb is enough for me, currently. Also have a external HD if its needed.
