What do you all think? I might go for the AMD Radeon instead of GTX 780M if there's no performance difference. Please don't suggest a desktop because it must be a laptop due to a number of reasons. I will be using it for intensive gaming and CAD work. I originally bought the Vortex II with AMD Radeon 6990M and 16GB RAM. Although it's good for moderate/high gaming, it's too slow for more complex CAD work.
Does the Omega II laptop have the same FN+1 fan control feature as the Vortex laptops? It's quite handy when I want to cool my laptop while I'm away to the toilet or grabbing a snack, and switch back to normal quiet fan when I'm back.
