hi all
I've just received a pcspecialist build with Asus ROG STRIX B360-I with Intel 660P SSDPEKNW010T8.
I have double checked the ASUS MB and its listed as GEN3 support -- I have set the PCIe Speed manually to GEN3 in the UEFI.
I have double checked the firmware of the Intel 660p it is at 002C
##READ speed is 1.1 GB/s
dd if=/dev/nvme0n1 of=/dev/null bs=4k count=1048576
1048576+0 records in
1048576+0 records out
4294967296 bytes (4.3 GB, 4.0 GiB) copied, 3.85106 s, 1.1 GB/s
##WRITE speed around the same at 990 MB/s
# echo 1 > /proc/sys/vm/drop_caches
# echo 2 > /proc/sys/vm/drop_caches
#echo 3 > /proc/sys/vm/drop_caches
# dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/rootvg/testlv bs=4k count=1048576
1048576+0 records in
1048576+0 records out
4294967296 bytes (4.3 GB, 4.0 GiB) copied, 4.33664 s, 990 MB/s
#i have set discard in /etc/fstab
#grep discard /etc/fstab
/dev/mapper/rootvg-root / xfs defaults,discard 0 0
## appears to be hitting approx 1.1/1GB/s limit here... has anyone else experience this issue?
