Hi guys, I'm planning on purchasing my second PC from PCS my current one is still fine but I wanna upgrade to a more powerful one. I plan on using this computer for a range of different jobs. I will be using it for Gaming, Video editing, streaming, rendering, map building, animation etc.

I'm not sure about the 6 core CPU though I dunno if it's overkill or not.

Nice spec. If you are planning to add a 2nd GTX 980 you may want to consider upgrading the PSU and at least the h80i if you are planning to overclock your cpu

I don't really wanna go SLI since allot of games do not support it plus the extra power consumption but do you think it will do the job well?

your current system? Definitely. Regarding SLI, at least for all the games I have played it has always been supported and no issues so far. If you are looking at 4k, multimonitors or higher resolution then SLI is an option
