Had my PC specialists desktop now for almost 5 years and I can now afford to upgrade before I buy this new monitor

Any suggestions on the build before I buy would be appreciated.

It’s a freesync monitor so wouldn’t work fully with the graphics you’ve chosen, seems a shame to compromise at that price point.

I wish links were a different colour or underlined too.

I'd second the suggestion for getting a gsync monitor, especially at such a high res.

I'd also consider a different case, as that's pretty huge.

Is there much difference between the Corsair H110i cooler and H100i v2 processor cooler ?
I can find quite a few reviews and vids on the H100i v2 but not the H110i

My god, that's a sweet monitor!

I think the H110i is a larger radiator 280mm vs 240mm. For your uses the H100iV2 would be ample.

Benefit of being able to retire at 53 after making some good investments in life :smartass:
Enjoy life to the full but save and be sensible.
