Trouble downloading control center

So I've recently got the optimus IX 17 second hand for rather cheap and it's all been okayish so far - one big issue that I'm facinng though is the fact that I can't download the control centre as my machine is second hand. I've looked around the internet and I can't seem to find a solution. I was wondering is there anything I can do or am I just out of luck?

Thank you.

TongFang who make the chassis don't have a public repository in an effort to reduce theft, so the only way to get drivers is by transferring ownership. Without them the system won't work properly and without control center, the cooling won't be effective. If the seller is unable to transfer ownership, it suggests they're not a reputable seller, and I'd suggest getting a refund.

Is this the only option? Because I bought it from a second hand shop so locating the original owner would be almost impossible.

Sellers are aware of this, they don’t buy them without transferring warranty. If they haven’t and aren’t offering you transfer of ownership it suggests it’s stolen and I would ask for a full refund and find a reputable second hand seller

It won’t work properly without drivers and control center anyway, so it’s not worth the money you likely paid for it.

Okay thank you, that's frustrating!

Luckily I only got it a few days ago so I got time.
